From Day 1 the goal on Radio 45 been to make and sell records. Everything we do has supported and will continue to support this goal.

Early-on we invested in state-of-the-art tools and education that enables us to build world-class audio recordings ourselves — on our own dime — without the financial burden of paying a commercial recording studio.

Promoting the songs we make became the next challenge. Our solution here was to leverage the emerging “tribute” market in order to expose our band — and our original songs — to rooms full of people. At nearly every tribute show we do Radio 45, with the audience’s permission, will inject an original song or two into the mix. Audiences seem to love it. This is strategic, and it works brilliantly.

Promoting the Shows We Appear At

Our belief is that it’s NOT the venue’s job to fill the room — that’s our responsibility. While we welcome any help we can get from the venue — our job is to get people to come to a show — and to give them a world-class entertainment experience when they honor us with their time.  This frees the venue up to focus on providing top-notch hospitality to all who come — and focus on keeping everybody safe.

Radio 45 understands the complexities of doing tribute shows and truly honoring the artist we pay tribute to, instead of simply trading on their name and likeness. For example: Our Tom Petty tribute Echo does not try to look like Tom Petty — we strive to reproduce the Tom Petty sound as accurately as possible. We feel thats the best way honor Tom, and we hope that Tom, his family and the Heartbreakers would approve.

Who We Are

Radio 45 is a band, a thoughtfully crafted brand, and a carefully run business enterprise. We’re not part of Radio 45 for the money. We are Radio 45 because we love recording and performing songs — and the money we earn at shows helps to support our families in order that we might *continue to* record and perform songs.

At a Glance

• Hire Radio 45 as an original artist, or to perform a mix of power pop hits ranging from Journey to Van Halen, or as one of our three world-class tribute act honoring Tom Petty, U2 and Cheap Trick.
• Radio 45 is fully equipped state-of-the-art sound, lighting and video presentation systems.
• SodaPop Records will run radio spots for select shows we appear at.
• Radio 45 believes it is our job to bring people to the venues we play (although we’ll take all the help you a van can provide provide) allowing the venue to focus on hospitality and keeping people safe (solid security).
• Radio 45 is road-ready, air-travel savvy, is able to play any destination in America — and travels with our own mobile dressing room.
• Radio 45 and SodaPop Records can handle much of your events design, media and promotional needs.
• In Partnership with Punxsutawney Brewing, we have our own beer: the Feels Like Summer Tart Ale.
